De Rosa framesets and complete bikes are hand-made to order in Italy. Therefore the normal time for shipping varies between 4-10 weeks depending on the model ordered. Please refer to the product page for specific product lead times.
Each new De Rosa bike or frame set is covered by a 2 year official factory warranty. The warranty is conditioned upon the bicycle being operated under normal conditions and use, and being properly maintained.
The warranty does not cover:
Remedy: Unless otherwise provided, the sole remedy under the De Rosa warranty, or implied warranty is limited to repair or replacement of defective parts with those of equal or greater value at the sole discretion of De Rosa.
Except for this remedy, De Rosa will not be responsible for any direct, incidental or consequential loss or damages, including without limitation, loss or damages for personal injury, property damage or economic losses, whether based on contract, warranty, product liability or any other theory.
The 2 year factory warranty is made solely to the original owner of the bicycle or frameset, and shall remain in force only as long as the original owner retains ownership of the bike. This warranty is not transferable.
To make a warranty claim you need to return the product to the same authorised De Rosa dealer you purchased it from, or contact us if you purchased it from the De Rosa Australia website.
Please note that warranty consideration is ultimately the responsibility of the manufacturer of the product being returned, and Como bike is not responsible for the decisions and resolution process determined by the manufacturer. The manufacturer reserves the right to repair, replace, or deny a warranty claim at their discretion. We recommend consulting any pertinent warranty information available from the manufacturer's website prior to submitting a warranty request.
Expected turn around time on approved warranty claims will take up to six weeks. A demo bike may be loaned if possible but this is not guaranteed and depends on stock availability.
Online Warranty Registration
In order to exercise your rights under this warranty, the bicycle or frameset must be registered online here. In order to activate the warranty you will need to supply the purchase date and the frame serial number that is under the bottom bracket or on the rear dropout (opposite one to the crankset). De Rosa Australia through Como Bike Pty Ltd offers customer support to assist De Rosa owners in the warranty process.
De Rosa Australia cannot accept returns/exchanges on bike frames and complete bikes unless faulty, as all frames are made to order. Frame and complete bike sales are considered a sale once payment has been applied to the sales order.
Clothing and accessories orders that are in stock and do not have to be back ordered will normally be packed and sent within 2 days of receipt of the order.
All goods supplied by Como bike are covered by the normal manufacturer’s warranty. If an item has failed, and you believe it to be a genuine claim for warranty, please contact us immediately. If it is found that the claim is genuine, and is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. You will need to fill out a returns form and send it to firstname.lastname@example.org. You will also need to include a printed copy with the goods being returned.
Certain products may need to be returned to the manufacturer for a warranty inspection before a course of action can be decided. In some cases, depending on the type of product and the fault at hand, a repair will be made rather than the product being replaced. Please do not assume that your product will be replaced. We will endeavour to return your product as quickly as possible. If there is a delay due to the nature of the repair, or a delay beyond our control, we will inform you and do whatever possible to limit the turnaround time of your product. Please bare in mind that the warranty procedures vary from brand to brand, and from distributor to distributor. Due to health and safety regulations, we request all used clothing be washed prior to returning back to us.

The cost of goods being returned to Como bike is your responsibility. We strongly suggest using a parcel service that is traceable. Como bike will not be held liable for any goods lost in transit.

If you want to return something because you have changed your mind or made the wrong choice (wrong size etc), we will refund the purchase price as long as you return it to us within 30 days. You must complete a returns form, print and send it with the item. The item must still be in its original packaging and not have been used, fitted, or marked in any way. We take every care when packing your order to make sure that it arrives in good condition, so please do the same for returns. If the items aren’t received by us in good condition, we may not be able to process your refund.
If you want to exchange something please return the old item to us for a refund and place a new order for your new item on our website.
For any other problems, please contact us via email@example.com as soon as practicable so we can sort it out. Please do this before returning your purchase, as the problem may be able to be rectified without the cost and hassle of sending it back. If the item has to be returned because of an error on our part, we will refund the reasonable cost of freight, but please let us know by phone or email before you send it back. When you return it, don’t forget to complete our returns form and pack it with the item.
If the item returned was sold into a country other than Australia and you paid import duty on it, you will have to apply for a refund yourself (for example, by supplying to your local authority proof of payment of the duty and proof that the item has been returned to us).
